You have brought your family together in Estes Park, Colorado—perhaps for the first time in years. There is something about this season, between summer and fall, that invites reflection. The light is golden, the days are warm but fleeting, and time seems to soften around the edges.
And maybe that is why this gathering feels sacred.
You are here. Together. Parents, grandparents, siblings, and children. Some flying in from across the country. Some driving up the mountain road. All arriving with open hearts and shared stories.
As you look around, you realize this moment is a gift.
What you want now is not just a way to remember it. You want to preserve it—artfully, meaningfully, and with the care it deserves.
This past week, I photographed a beautiful family reunion at the YMCA of the Rockies. What we created was not simply a series of posed portraits. It was a collection of moments that told the truth of who they are—together.
My work is designed for families who value more than a quick snapshot. You want legacy. Coherence. The kind of timeless image that feels effortless yet deeply intentional.
From the way I guide the session to the way I compose each frame, my focus is to reflect your family's essence in a way that feels natural, elegant, and emotionally resonant.
Whether you are gathering at the YMCA of the Rockies, a private mountain estate, or a family cabin you have returned to for generations, the Colorado landscape invites something deep. The backdrop is stunning, but what matters most is the connection between you.
That is what I photograph. That is what endures.
Now is the time to schedule your portrait experience. Late summer and early fall offer the most flattering light and the most spacious emotional field for sessions like these.
If your family is gathering anywhere in the Front Range, I would be honored to create something lasting with you.
Because this moment matters.
Where do you offer family portrait sessions?
I photograph family portraits in Estes Park, Boulder, Fort Collins, Denver, and private mountain retreats across Colorado. I also travel for destination family gatherings by request.
How far in advance should we book?
I recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks in advance, especially during peak seasons like late summer and early fall. Some families book up to 3 months ahead to ensure availability during reunions and holidays.
What is included in a family portrait experience?
Each session includes planning consultation, location guidance, wardrobe coordination support, and a curated collection of professionally edited images. Legacy print options, albums, and wall art are available.
How long is the session?
Sessions typically last 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the size of the family and the flow of the moment. I allow space for authentic interaction while guiding with intention and ease.
Do you photograph large multi-generational families?
Yes, I specialize in photographing extended families and multi-generational reunions. I offer a blend of full group portraits, individual families, candid moments, and legacy pairings such as grandparents with grandchildren.
What if the weather changes?
Mountain weather is part of the beauty and unpredictability of Colorado. I monitor conditions closely and always have a backup plan or rescheduling options available.
If you are ready to create lasting images that reflect your family’s love, story, and legacy, let us begin that conversation.
